Fullstack Software Engineer

Unicepta & Ubermetrics Remote- Contract (December 2021 - May 2022)

Worked as part of the team that built and maintained tools that provide insight, intelligence and analysis for marketing intelligence solutions.
Worked in a team that updated a core API from PHP to Typescript(NestJS).
Helped to clear a backlog of user experience related bugs and chores on the front-end of a client-facing application called Inbox with Nextjs and Mobx.
Worked on a client-facing application called Inbox that serves as a client dashboard for all their, insight and information data.
Pair programmed with a teammate to create a monitoring pipeline with Cypress that runs a cron job of tests to ensure:
- that the user interface of a client-facing portal is not broken.
- Data is received by the portal at every given interval.
- Reports the data gotten to google cloud monitoring tool.
- Reports any anomaly to the dedicated Microsoft teams channel.
Served on maintenance rotation for engineering:
- Ensure every incoming error alert is assigned to a person or worked on.
- Prioritise incoming error alerts depending on the level of severity and assign them to the appropriate sub-team.
Worked on a client-facing application called Text Correction which helps clients correct typographical errors or make updates to articles(records) that they encounter on Inbox.
